            Oh how I have loved my mission! I feel to shout from the rooftops, "O that I were an angel, and could have the wish of mine heart, that I might go forth and speak with the trump of God, with a voice to shake the earth, and cry repentance unto every people! Yea, I would declare unto every soul, as with the voice of thunder, repentance and the plan of redemption, that they should repent and come unto our God, that there might not be more sorrow upon all the face of the earth." But I am left to say in my heart "But behold, I am a man, and do sin in my wish; for I ought to be content with the things which the Lord hath allotted unto me."

             There is no greater work upon this earth than the joy of bringing those whom you so dearly love to the peace of repentance. To the eternal joy of everlasting life! I praise to my God! I know that in my own strength I am nothing, but glory be to God and the Lamb I have offered my life. 

             I rejoice and feel as Paul when he stated "For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." Thank you forever and ever Father, for allowing me to serve you so for just this short period of time.

"Jesus the Living Christ"

             I give my final witness to each of you, as a full time called missionary of Jesus Christ, I know with out a single shadow of a doubt that Jesus of Nazareth who was crucified and hanged on a tree, is the Redeemer of Israel, and of the whole earth. I know that angels declared to Mary that "he is not here, for he is risen." I know, for I am a witness of it, that all power under heaven was given to Him. All power to cleanse, to strengthen, to purify, to enable, to comfort, teach and save ALL who come into him. 

               I KNOW THAT HE LIVES! He is the Living Christ, He is my all, he is my liberator, my teacher, and my best friend. I love Him, I know Him, and I will serve Him with all the remaining breath of my life. I fear no man, for perfect love casteth out all fear. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ and am one of His true followers, I exhort ALL to come into Him, and I promise that you WILL find peace in this life and eternal life in the world to come.

          What a week! We had all sorts of amazing experiences!! We are working hard and really trying to take care of our investigators that we Do have. We are really striving to help them make and keep commitments that their faith might increase, even to repentance. I have loved being able to share my testimony so freely with ALL. 

"The Book of Mormon"

             I know for a fact that the Book of Mormon is true! I want to share this as my testimony to each. That the Book of Mormon was given to each of us to find peace and happiness in this life, in the midst of trials and tribulation. I know it will lead us into life and Salvation in the next. I know with out the Book of Mormon and the Prophet Joseph Smith we would never know that we could live as families in the eternities! I love you family!

          This week was amazing to see the amount of revelation the our Father in Heaven so wants to give each of us! We had seen visions and had thing made known to us in no others ways this week to hasten the work here in Thermopolis! This week I am striving to open my mouth, and declare this gospel as I have never done previously. I know this work is true and I am filled with the love of God and blessed with an amazing companion!

"The Worth of Souls"

             "Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God; For, behold, the Lord your Redeemer suffered death in the flesh; wherefore he suffered the pain of all men, that all men might repent and come unto him. And he hath risen again from the dead, that he might bring all men unto him, on conditions of repentance. And how great is his joy in the soul that repenteth!" (1) 

               We ALL have a divine worth, and none is greater than the other. I know that Jesus Christ himself came to this earth and performed a perfect Atonement for the sins and afflictions of all of us. I KNOW IT! I love each of you. And I love my mission.

          We had a really good week this week and just had a fabulous time! We have been finding some golden friends and investigators!

"What Can I Get Out of This?"

             My family, please prayerfully study these two scriptures "And charity suffereth long, and is kind, and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

             "Wherefore, my beloved brethren, if ye have not charity, ye are nothing, for charity never faileth. Wherefore, cleave unto charity, which is the greatest of all, for all things must fail--

             "But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him.

              "Wherefore, my beloved brethren, pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love, which he hath bestowed upon all who are true followers of his Son, Jesus Christ; that ye may become the sons of God; that when he shall appear we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is; that we may have this hope; that we may be purified even as he is pure. Amen." (Moroni 7:45-48)

              And "Behold, there are many called, but few are chosen. And why are they not chosen?

              "Because their hearts are set so much upon the things of this world, and aspire to the honors of men, that they do not learn this one lesson--

              "That the rights of the priesthood are inseparably connected with the powers of heaven, and that the powers of heaven cannot be controlled nor handled only upon the principles of righteousness.

              "That they may be conferred upon us, it is true; but when we undertake to cover our sins, or to gratify our pride, our vain ambition, or to exercise control or dominion or compulsion upon the souls of the children of men, in any degree of unrighteousness, behold, the heavens withdraw themselves; the Spirit of the Lord is grieved; and when it is withdrawn, Amen to the priesthood or the authority of that man.

               "Behold, ere he is aware, he is left unto himself, to kick against the pricks, to persecute the saints, and to fight against God.

               "We have learned by sad experience that it is the nature and disposition of almost all men, as soon as they get a little authority, as they suppose, they will immediately begin to exercise unrighteous dominion. 

                "Hence many are called, but few are chosen.

                "No power or influence can or ought to be maintained by virtue of the priesthood, only by persuasion, by long-suffering, by gentleness and meekness, and by love unfeigned;

                "By kindness, and pure knowledge, which shall greatly enlarge the soul without hypocrisy, and without guile--

                "...Let thy bowels also be full of charity towards all men, and to the household of faith, and let virtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly; then shall thy confidence wax strong in the presence of God; and the doctrine of the priesthood shall distil upon thy soul as the dews from heaven.

                "The Holy Ghost shall be thy constant companion, and thy scepter an unchanging scepter of righteousness and truth; and thy dominion shall be an everlasting dominion, and without compulsory means it shall flow unto thee forever and ever." (D&C 121:34-42,45-46)

April 9, 2018, "Will You Grow into the Principle of Revelation?"

          A week ago Sunday I was really praying about how I could best follow the guidance of President Russel M. Nelson, the Prophet. And as I was praying a memory came to my mind that really helped answer a question that has been in my mind the last few weeks. I know that you can receive revelation about how to receive revelation! 

          We are working very hard! So much that I am so tired, but Elder Gonzales is such an amazing missionary! He is so humble, so quick to learn, and he is always looking at the brighter things. For him, I will always be thankful. 

"Will You Grow into the Principle of Revelation?"

             President Russell M. Nelson just encouraged us to "Find a quiet place where you can regularly go. Humble yourself before God. Pour out your heart to your Heavenly Father. Turn to Him for answers and for comfort."

            "Pray in the name of Jesus Christ about your concerns, your fears, your weaknesses--yes, the very longings of your heart. And then listen! Write the thoughts that come to your mind. Record your feelings and follow through with actions that you are prompted to take. As you repeat this process day after day, month after month, year after year, you will “grow into the principle of revelation.”

              "Does God really want to speak to you? Yes!" (1) My Family and my dear friends I exhort you in the name of Almighty God to find a way to apply this :) You can receive answers to all of your questions. The true question is, are we humble enough to hear the answer and meek enough to act upon it. 

               I give my sacred witness as a representative of Jesus Christ, our Lord, I know that he is there, I know that he hears us, I know that His love for YOU is so great that one cannot even begin to understand it. I know He Lives! He is the literal resurrected Christ! And I know that He has called Russell M Nelson to be His spokesman on the earth today. And I lie not, God bearing witness of it.

          I am beyond well! ⬇️⬇️

"Hosanna!"

             Family, Friends, Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Praise to our God! What a divine Conference we have just witnessed! Brethren and Sisters, the world is about to receive a greater out pouring of light! The Lord is preparing this earth for the return of His glory! May each of us prepare ourselves and become worthy my beloved friends, for ye ought to beloved. Christ soon cometh, Hosanna! He is coming! He is coming! I so hope that we can shout it from the rooftops! 

             To you whom I so love, I exhort you, that ye may seek to stretch your spiritual capacity to receive revelation to a place it has never before been. 

              "Our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, will perform some of His mightiest works between now and when He comes again. We will see miraculous indications that God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ, preside over this church in majesty and glory. But, in coming days it will not be possible to survive spiritually, without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost. 

              "My beloved brothers and sisters, I plead with you to increase your spiritual capacity to receive revelation. Let this Easter Sunday be a defining moment in your life. Chose to do the spiritual work required to enjoy the gift of the Holy Ghost, and and hear the voice of the Spirit more frequently and more clearly." President Nelson just said in the last Sunday Morning Session yesterday.

               I pray that each of us may head the prophets words! I declare unto you my witness of the resurrected Christ. I know He lives. I know He is at the helm of this Church. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

March 26, 2018, "Jesus Christ"

          I am absolutely loving it here in Thermopolis! There is so much work going on here! Everyone is so prepared! We are literally starting the lessons with at least 6-7 house holds this week that we just found last week! It is perfect for Elder Gonzalez's training! He is an amazing trainee, he is just so ready to learn, teach and find. I am so happy to be serving with him!

           I love all the people here it has been so sweet to see all of my family and friends again. I know the Lord has allowed me to come back here for a reason! These last 11 weeks of my mission are going to be some of the busiest and most good done. We trust in the God of Israel and there is none in our way to stop us, save it be ourselves.

"Jesus Christ"

             As the days and weeks go on I am realizing that the time I have to bear my witness of the Living Christ in this unique way is quickly coming to a close. With the few weeks I have left I want to share my most precious possession with all of you.

              Family and friends, I know that Jesus Christ is the only one and true way back to God. By Him, all good things come. I love Him, He is my personal Savior and Redeemer. I know He loves you, I know He so desperately wants to give you His redeeming power to impact your life for peace and joy. He weeps when you weep and rejoices when you rejoice. He is the Son of God! God be thanked for His Divine Son!

          We had the baptism of April Curruth yesterday! She is so amazing and her and her fiancé are moving down to Mesa here is a month or two! We have had a great week!

           We got transfer news this week! I'm am getting transferred to Thermopolis, WY to finish my mission!! I will be training a brand new missionary. By the time I go home I will have served in Thermopolis in 2016, 2017, and 2018. I will have served there in every month of the year except Feb. Making it a total of 10 months. 

            Needless to say I am very excited we are getting doubled in to replace Sisters there.

March 12, 2018, "Enter Therein"

          Hey familia! My companion had the flu this week so we had to stay inside for 4 days, haha I got a lot studying in! I learned a lot this week. We got to go to the temple as well. And I am continually amazed  at the beauty and the symbolism in there.

           We made a fort and a lot of paper airplanes but we got lots of good work in at the end of the week. I love you!

"Enter Therein"

              As I was reading in Helaman 14 this morning I came across verse 15 which states "For behold, [Jesus Christ] surely must die that salvation may come; yea, it behooveth him and becometh expedient that he dieth, to bring to pass the resurrection of the dead, that thereby men may be brought into the presence of the Lord."

               When I came across this verse my mind was then opened to see, that both symbolically and literally, the death of Jesus Christ prepares us to enter into the presence of God. By his resurrection we receive our immortal body clothed in purity even in the robes of righteousness. (see 2 Nephi 9:14) To be crowned with the crowns of celestial glory (see 1 Peter 5:4, D&C 75:5). His everlasting Atonement can cover us as we are all naked and ashamed as consequence of our sins, for we are fallen man and have gone contrary to the nature of God, even the nature of happiness. 

               May we all come unto Christ, that we may find peace and eternal joy as He covers us by His endless mercy, and when the time comes we will receive our Fathers sacred embrace (Luke 15:20, 2 Nephi 1:15) as we pass through the veil and enter into His glorious presence. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

March 5, 2018, "Love"

          This week was great! We have been doing so much good work! We are finding the definition of elect investigators! We have a whole family, another who is on date for the 18th and another who when we left her the Book of Mormon to read, could not put it down! The work is booming here!

           We go on so many exchanges here. I feel 40% of our time and energy is spent comforting and encouraging the Elders here in the Zone. A lot of them are in the midst of their own refiners fires to prepare them for what is to come for them. It is not easy for them, and I am thankful to God for the opportunity he has given to serve and love these Elders in the moment of their troubles

             It was a crazy week! We had some cool service! We watched a Picasso painting get actioned off for $65,000 during our service. One of the Elders in our Zone is on a mini mission from Idaho Falls and he got his mission call this week to Alabama. He is pretty exited! It's been a great week!

"Love"

              The thing which I desire most in my life is peace and love. There is such joy from these qualities. President Monson once said "Brethren, we do not honor the priesthood of God if we are not kind to others. My dear friend and associate Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin was truly a kind man. Said he:

               “Kindness is the essence of a celestial life. Kindness is how a Christlike person treats others. Kindness should permeate all of our words and actions at work, at school, at church, and especially in our homes. Jesus, our Savior, was the epitome of kindness and compassion.” (1)

               Kindness, gentleness, compassion, may these rule our day. I beg of you, please let these into you life and especially in your home. I know Jesus Christ can lead us by his loving hand into eternal bliss and joy. He is our Savior. I love Him.
